Elgrand Model: XL
Year of Registration: 2004
Engine: 3.5 V6
Years Owned: 1 Month
Modifications: Nismo Suspension, Rider exhaust, Adjustable shocks, 19" Visconti Alloys, LPG
Why you think your E51 should win: Because it, i think, has every option fitted which include: Factory cruise, electric curtains, double electric doors, twin sunroofs, heated seats, heated front screen, 4WD, and remote engine start. All wrapped up with a great bodykit, rider front end and sits great over the wheels. Oh and shes just as clean underneath as she is on top.

Modifications:After market alloys
Why you think your E51 should win:She never misses a beat and a rare coloured model. Drives as good as she looks.tried to keep as much original bits, clock still Tokyo time , speedo kmh, flare still in its holder .The whole family including the mutts enjoy being in comfort and space. Getting used to the stares and the questions now but no car has ever put such a big smile on my face. I'm one very proud owner of a luxury car which has cloutimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Elgrand Model: Rider

Year of Registration: 2003

Years Owned: 1 Year

Modifications: Lightbar on Front, Tinted Headlights, Blacked out Front Grills, Matt Black paint (being wrapped piece by piece over the top) LED Colour Change Side Lights, LED DRL's, LED Light up front Upper Grill, LED Disco Light Lower Grill, Interior Lights Blue LED, Rear Fogs upgraded to LED plus Bug Eyes, Door Shut LED's, Footwell LED's, Under Bonnet Lights, Double Din Stereo, Drop Down Rear DVD, K&N Cone Filter, Decatted rear (Bypass Pipes)...Sure there's more I have done.

Elgrand Model: Highway Star
Year of Registration: 2003
Engine: eg 3.5 V6
Years Owned: Less than 1 year
Modifications: LPG and Camper conversion. Fitted dash cam and Cyclone Micro 4 to play my music. Other than that want to keep as close to original Japanese as possible.
Why you think your E51 should win: Survived the JAL purchase experience and remained sane! Best vehicle I've ever owned. Lovely colour - I'm told it's an anniversary edition and very rare. Smile every time I fill up and pay what I used to in the 1990's! Enjoying staying in it at every possible opportunity.

Year of Registration: 2002
Engine: 3.5 V6
Years Owned: 2 years
Modifications: DVD front headrests, white led interior lights, Bosch Aero wipers, games console, wireless headphones, clear side repeaters.
Why you think your E51 should win: Definately been one of the most reliable cars i've owned, apart from the usual wheel bearing issues, never let me down, always puts a smile on my face & nobody has a clue what it is.
Nearly got rid of it a few months back but decided we would miss it because of the huge space inside & the versatility of the interior.

E51 Series 1 2004 Pearl White called Boris. Nothing to do with Boris Johnson , but we won't get into that.
3.5 l Petrol, owned for 7 months.
Think he deserves a prize as a standard (mostly) Elgrand. No skirts, no fancy wheels just a basic car. Does have slippery glass, two sunroofs, ion exchange air cleaning, 2 Din Head, LED internal lights, dash cam and modified CATs however.
Would have taken more photos but only polished one side of the car.
Haven't told Boris that he is being entered for a competition, but I think he said something about hoping to open an orphanage and striving for World peace. 😁😁😁

IMAG4855.jpg

Just look at the standard 16 inch wheels.

Comfy, comfy, comfy!

Well my Betsy should win as I see I've the smallest engine so far and I'm helping the environment. Also she has the G30 paint and she gleams lovely colours in the sunshine ☀.

Why you think your E51 should win: In all honesty I don't think mine should win as the body kit needs a few repairs. By this time next year however, she should be a worthy contender! The only vehicle I've ever owned that the whole family enjoy and can transport us all in luxury! DSC_0290.JPGreceived_967595030081757.jpegDSC_0263.JPG

Why you think your E51 should win:

Starting out with a completely standard Rider S freshly imported in March 2015 as it’s first UK owner I’ve gone for a less is more, classy and subtle style with quality rather than content. All of the work completed on my bus is either designed and planned by me or built by me after many hours of hard work over the course of 3 years and 4 months. All work documented, photographed, and detailed within my project thread on the forum to help share knowledge, despite increasing time required to complete work.

Modifications: perfect just as he is, like the fact it shows Japan time, think it’s quirky and listen to radio 2 anyway so happy days 😜
Think my Moby should win because he is the latest edition to our family and loved by all, awesome camping car and wonderfully comfortable. It’s by far the most ridiculously thirsty vehicle I’ve ever had but worth the extra cost for the smile 😃
