Kev, Just call me satnav and I will lead the way but you must bring your swim kit.
I will call you marathon man as you now know that you can do the long scenic route 🤣
 
@dognero just had a quick check on their website as I thought they close over winter, looks like no availability from 1st October onwards.
Could consider High Farm site near Bishop Auckland, open all year, has camper pitches and posh Glamping in Railway carriages, on-site cafe (featured episode 9 Robson Green series when he visited different places in north east)

i’ve got something booked on 20 oct but free rest of oct , , might be better to arrange on a sooner date rather than later ,even in sept , cold long dark nights are coming . gd shout @Safety Mick (sat nav) i’m always looking for all year sites

I caught that episode, site and location looked nice.
 
Sounds great. I would be interested but I would only be a day visitor. Kids football takes over weekends unfortunately (I also run the team so cannot go missing 😀)
 
starting to get a bit cold for my arthritis but certainly game for meet ups. Seriously struggling this autumn with flare ups. guess im in another active period

Game to get to one. They usually end up landing on Sundays before night shift which is a problem because the boys swim early on a morn and I’m needing a nap in the afternoon to charge up.
