My MIL is from Seaham and we've been many times over the years visiting relatives. One of the benches on the terrace is dedicated to her father who fought in the war.
Anyway, if I wasn't 3 hours away we'd be there for some chips mate.

Sounds good to me, we had a North East Xmas Fish & Chip meet in Downeys Seaham. Either day Is fine for me .

Sounds good but we will have to give it a miss as we will be In Llandudno that weekend, enjoy

I mentioned the chippy to @YvonneW which got her attention and approval. Either day will suit us.

Would potentially be up for it late to night shift week. Depends on the day how tired I am sadly because I quite often canā€™t sleep on the Saturday night before I go onto Sunday nights

Did you decide a day on this mate

All been well will come up Saturday with wife and youngest stop over night and we get to do the beach too which she's wanted to do for a long time

Just landed in Seaham is that senotaph we're meeting at later
