Do you have a link please seems a bit of a minefield seen the upgraded metal one but it does not state its Nissan OEM and others come from the states !

I think it's all covered in the threads linked to above. The part numbers are below. You could try a Nissan dealer but could be more expensive than ordering from Amayama. I would avoid eBay as even advertised genuine ones could be fake.

Thanks but that's the camsaft sensor the crankshaft sensor is currently unavailable have tried to order on amayama but they need to check availability and price which can take 3 days ,tried the Nissan dealer its a bit steep around £180.
JDM have a HITACHI superseded version metal not plastic for £98 but its not OEM !

I agree that the power steering often has problems when the route cause is an engine position sensor problem. But sometimes an error code pointing to a power steering sensor turns out in fact to be due to a faulty power steering sensor, we shouldn't rule that out yet.

Don't forget this is the updated version 23731AL60D which you'll get from Nissan the other versions are outdated and and not as accurate

thanks Andy ordered it from where you said really weird as you click on order camshaft and it puts crankshaft in the basket ,will see how I get on with changing that first will try changing power steering one if that does not work BTY the link says its not available .

yes it seems to be a very hard part to get No one seems to have them in stock And if they do they are very expensive Here's what I found

under the Circumstances I would try the aftermarket 1 and try that first or see if you can get a second hand one.
