Wrap or paint grill and other chrome

In my quest to de-blue my bus I'm wondering what's best to use on the grill & the number plate surround. I'm thinking of the carbon wrap rather than paint but paint is still an option & is it easy enough to apply? How much will I need & anyone got a link to what they used?

I did wrap mine originally before I rusted the car.
The chrome bits are fairly small so not too bad to do yourself. You can buy carbon tape in thinner rolls these days. Luckily, it used to be my job doing car wraps and decals but for those small bits I'd say no experience needed. Just a bit of confidence... The grille arguably is easier to spray paint but again, can be wrapped..
I wrapped the inside too getting rid of the brown tortoise shell which I just didn't like the second I bought the car 🙂

the handles are pearl under the blue covers the chrome under the grill was flaking of so i de badge it so there will be filler under the blue the rear number plate holder was also looking tatty so rub down and painted
 
Oh, the handles are blue covers? Not properly looked yet.

Bloody hell @P4ddy thought you were long gone from this parish! So you finally got the Elgrand then? What you got? E50, E51(yay), E52(boo)?
 
Yea I bought the bobby bus. The very one I test drove in June 2022 . I joined in Oct 2021 so it's taken a while.😆
 
I’ve tried painting the grille in several ways but was never happy so imported a custom one from Japan .. best thing I’ve ever did
