Would you take a punt on a high miler?

Hi Phil. How long have you owned your bus and at 230k, what have you had to do on the engine and drivetrain?
With the costs to maintain and repair, are you able to do your own repairs or do you rely on a mechanic?
I'm no longer able to carry out them myself and rely on mechanics - when you van find competent honest ones


I've owned it nearly 5 years, it had 200k on the clock when I bought it

In that time i've annually changed the oil and filters engine wise


Replaced the tyres and replaced the droplinks twice

Now you see, I loves me a nice classic car, currently got a 1990 Westfalia California, but carbs, well, thdey deserved to die


Fuel injection is a godsend :D
