Might be worth paying the extra for the stainless steel items as the standard ones rust very quickly.

You know what , I’m getting really miffed at the amount of times people mention the fact that the Elgrand is “thirsty” , a “guzzler “ etc etc .
So , just to put the record straight, my Elgrand is not an alcoholic, she just likes a drink , or three.
I can see FB starting an Elgrands anonymous group soon—————-no I won’t lol

I'm 48 hours from collecting a high mileage, but running, XC90 D5. Filthy inside, needs a new gearshift gaiter, a wing mirror, some TEMU seat covers and a dent/scratch sorted.... but for scrap value (owners widow wants shut of it) I'm finding it very, very hard to resist as a money pit project.

Nice one Joe 👍

Ugh. After 5 years of enjoying our Elgrand, I bumped into a motorhome while reversing on a car park. Tail gate and rear window are toast. I feel like a right idiot.
done that, ☹️ sickening. Quite easy to replace if you can find a replacement. @stevemen / @msl parts worth a try.

Johanna and Keith, do you have proximity sensors on your Elgrands ?

When mine arrives I will be doing just this. Cameras are cameras but audio warns us earlier.
Piezzo alarms for oil pressure and the like are easy fits

Thanks to Charles
