WHAT THE FUCK???!!!!

what’s the post character limit on here??
Limitless I think. However, there's a lot of issues with it at the moment. smiley faces etc, brackets, all sorts seem to be getting stopped, and different things for different people.
You've probably some text the algorithm don't like.
I once spent about 2 hours making an advert up....for me to then spend another 2 figuring out/altering/deleting stuff it didn't like

IIrc there is a post character limit, think I triggered it with one of my epic long posts a few years ago so had to split the epic into 2 or 3 parts.

I'm probably the only user to have such problems, at least when the forum is working properly :joy: Nobody else tends to write 10000 word essays

Short story I sent myself the money not them but they too stupid to read the transfer in my phone
It's a good job most thieves are stupid, a friend of mine came home to the conservatory door broke open, the scum had tried to get into the house and pulled off the french window handles but failed to get in, the thing was the doors were unlocked and opened into the house not the usual outwards opening into the conservatory. Halfwits!!

Haha halfwit intellect at its best 🤨

Just heard that a well known local builder died recently and it reminded me of something that happened many years ago. I got to know this bloke at the gym years ago but I better knew his son John when we were kids and we all lived on the same street. The son was a year older than me but we used to play together quite a lot. My dad was a club 'turn' and had lots of friends in the same business. One day I was playing in the garden with John when a car pulled into the yard, we thought nothing of it, at least not until a gorilla got out of the car driving seat and started chasing me and John around the garden. At that time the garden was all nicely landscaped on 3 different levels with little paths and steps etc, greenhouse, pond, summer house, lots of hidden bits and ways to take shortcuts if you knew your way around it, great for playing hide and seek in but also giving us plenty scope to take different routes trying to outsmart this gorilla that was trying to catch us. Eventually John escaped and ran out of the garden down the road and presumably made it safely back to his house, and I escaped when the gorilla stopped chasing me and knocked on the house door and my dad welcomed him inside. The gorilla was my dads mate, also a club turn / comedian wearing one of his on-stage props. John never came back to my house to play with me ever again and I never saw him to speak to him again, but I did see him most mornings because he had to pass through a ginnel beside our house to reach the bus stop to catch the bus to his catholic school. Every morning he ran through the ginnel past our house lol. He is now a doctor so I hope and expect there came a time when he realised the gorilla was just a bloke dressed up. At the time the gorilla was chasing us I kind of half expected it was one of my dad's / friend's practical jokes... but I couldn't take the risk lol.

There was another gorilla incident.... Mum and dad took me and my sister to Flamingo Land. There was a caged gorilla going crazy banging on the bars trying to get out, the keepers seemingly taunting it and telling this big crowd not to worry because it couldn't escape... It banged on the bars again and the cage door opened, the gorilla ran out roaring and thumping its chest. The crowd panicked. I was off out the door from this indoors area and didn't stop running across the field outside for maybe 1/4 mile lol.

I can't remember which came first, the garden incident or the Flamingo Land incident, probably the Flamingo Land incident because that'd give my dad and his mate the idea.

I wouldn’t trust any wildlife park that called itself Flamingo Land but actually they had gorillas, even I can see the difference!

Just tried some emojis. Same deal. No dice.

And I still can't load a GIF for an avatar or modify the text in my signature. Not much of an issue really but it used to work.
