Many moons ago there was mayhem in our house hold, where are the TV remotes?
The house was turned upside down to no avail, each blaming one another.

Never to be seen again.

Until today.

We've had the same mayhem many times.

What usually seems to happen is someone sits down without looking to see if there's anything they might be sitting on and ends up pushing them through the crack between cushions.

I blame that person but they usually use the excuse they haven't seen the other remote all day, they only ever watch Youtube so haven't needed to use the Sky remote, so it can't be them who lost it and they didn't bother to look for it.

Some would blame the person who left the remotes on the settee where someone else could recklessly sit on them, I don't blame that person unless they left remotes hidden already in a crack, because the remotes are always used by someone sitting on the settee so it's OK for remotes to be left on the settee.

I always thought they are a bit small in depth, I will be fitting an oil pressure gauge on my next service may enquiry if K&M do one same dia but with a bit more depth
 
Since everyone else comes to complain or cry I thought I would. To

After 13 years of mostly happy, some stressful and hundreds of times saying don't make me pull this car over and probably doing once or twice. It is time I upgrade my old girl. The mostly reliable car I have ever had. My Elgrand NE51 Highway star. Youngest kid is 10 and could not say when I last hard the roof tv screen down or having to listen but not see while the watch a movie in the back. Maybe 12mths ago went to go check out new vans. And I can say not much that is worth min 50k. Worst idea ever as kids worked out the all get there own changer sockets and tables and stupid shit that will break after one weekend away. Since then that all I hear about my phone/tablet is flat. But got a new Nissan serena e power c28 and it has everything they want plus everything that I wanted on the Elgrand. I have navigation cruse control radio even when tv screen is down it plays out near there chairs and turns off the others and also alot of shit I don't and probably never touch. Lol. But it is dead silent and all the auto lane shit auto brake car follow speed. Which makes a 20 min drive so boring It feels like hours. But have been putting off the Elgrand sale and thought I'll try them sell your car online cash in 24hrs places.
 
And my grumpy rant is
why I am here I don't know why anymore would ever waste there time filling in the form to get some fuck head give u some offence offer. My old Elgrand is pretty clean runs year it is old buy the tyres and wheels would have to be more then some of the offers then call back and ask if u got the txt and when they can come cause they are not joking they will get it today and will drive away without RWC. First off i did not say it did and 2nd I would rather park it on my grass and watch it rust away then give it them at there price. Still getting msgs 2 days later asking if it still for sale and offering $50 more. John from sellyouride can go suck a big fat sausage has rang 6 times today rings and ask if I am ready to sell then says ok reach out when u are then adds $20 and does again from 6 calls he has had $90 if he rings again I going tell that fuck yes u come get it then when he pull I going to park the Elgrand on his head and say u didn't buy the jack so u will have to stay there.

Oil capacity with filter is 4.9 litres, so the moped sized filter will suffice.

I think the oil capacity should have be 8 litres with a proper sized filter giving better longevity between changes….but what do I know.
 
For f**k sake , why would you post butyl tape/rope in thin “ plastic “bags c going to take an hour to salvage any of it
Might try freezing it for an hour , see if the plastic peels off better

Some members from here went to the Facebook site - some by their own free will and some who were banned from here.

I can’t comment on Facebook as I have never joined, or knowing read anything from it.
 
Heard the council tractor cutting back hedges on the top road, went up to see the driver, asked him if he could come down the access to our yard and cut the brushes back again same as he did last year... Top result, that saved me a lot of hard work with the brush cutter, he's taken it back even further than last year :) . Only took him 10 minutes, tipped him a tenner.

There's a lot of daft questions asked, misinformation and bad advice given on Facebook.

Also, info gets pushed further and further down the page, difficult to find info even if people could be bothered to search for it. For the same reason it's more difficult for people to know who any experts are on Facebook because it's difficult to see who's given seemingly knowledgeable answers to questions in the past. The same questions might get asked a lot on here but on Facebook that happens on a different level. Facebook definitely isn't designed to be used as a forum.
