WHAT THE FUCK???!!!!

My mother passed away on the 13th December... today I've managed to have her passing registered... funeral not until the 30th January 2023.. how fecking long is that 🤬🤬🤬

The whole system is shite, my dad died on November 2nd 2021, we are still waiting for docs from the land registry to allow us to sell the house to pay for Mum's care. Current wait for the crem round here? 8 weeks.

Mate, I spent 8 months watching my dad fade away after mum went into care, I knew he wouldn't see christmas 2021. Sadly I was right. It's surprising how much inner strength comes to the fore, I'm sure you will put the "brave face" on for the sake of the kids.
Do what I did, hide behind a joke and a smile then sit alone & sob uncontrollably on the back seat of the Elgrand from time to time.
Be strong mate.
 
cheers guys it won't be that bad he had dementure for three years so did not recognize anyone plus if you did visit he was violent and accused everyone of stealing something plus beating up the nurses so it will in a way be a blessing as that is no way to live being bed bound as well

Popped to the local shopping precinct for a bit of Xmas cheer. Emerge into a badly lit car park and point the remote at the beast to unlock him, no response from the mardy get, proceed to walk over to jab the awkward fecker with the door key thinking "something's not right".
Shimmy to right.. they're not my headlights, two steps back.. they are not @dognero's old wheels.
Look hard right... oh look! my Elgrand is over there......

What are the chances of two G30 S2 Elgrands one row apart in a car park?
It not like it's as common as a feckin Focus FFS

My mum has dementia, I beat myself up that I don't visit her but do make sure she has what she wants & needs. She hasn't a clue who I am.
Selfish? Maybe, but it's not living it's existing. She's trapped in a world that I can't enter.

Andy's going to be driving a black one, so he's going to have to stay overnight at my house with you just to get to the Carlisle show on time ,,😉😁,,

Feel your loss Bob. Sadly my mother going down same route. 96 years old and diagnosed with lewy body dementia earlier this year. We will be spending Xmas day this year sat in nursing home

My condolences mate. My mother passed away 7 years ago on 15th December and it took until 6th January before we could have her service.

@dognero , what have you done Andy, looks like you can’t see the black ones at night “ didn’t have that problem with a white one did you” ( keep it standard my arse, I see lights, lots of lights)
