What have you done to your Elgrand today?

As you know, inside, you have two plastic rollers with metal pins, one on each cable, 2 bolts holding in place ( inside, behind the plastic panels), when you replace the cable, you open them up, clean, re- grease, I used silicone.
I would imagine if you had a silicone grease spray, pushed the Straw end in the rubber grommet, it might do similar!!!
But you'd be greasing the cable ( I think that is what you have done) which might not be great as dirt & stuff will stick to the grease/cable, which might cause more probs down the road, that's why the cables are plastic coated, yes not Great but it's what we have.

Maybe I didn't explain properly. I'm talking about the sliding door itself, there is an electric cable in a rubber convoluted cover that goes between body and door, right at the bottom and this cable slides in a channel on the bottom of the sliding door. It's quite an elaborate mech with a slider and snake-like thing inside the door. This mech needs to slide freely.
 
Tried out something I've had for quite a while.
Just tried it to see what it was like.
Stuck it back up on top of the wardrobe.

The point is that you can give and receive advice and have a sort of friendship. Your posts have helped me with a couple of problems and for that I am grateful.
No idea why you can't directly post a photo, presumably you have tried other devices to see if it is an account or device problem? Have you asked an admin about it directly?

Buddy, I didn't have a problem with what you have put up.
We all look at something, but sometimes we don't see the same thing.
Sometimes I look back at what I put up and think what is he on about.
Edited, if you look at the time of posts, you'll see we posted nearly at the same time, the post was not connected with your post, it was already on way

But grease on something that's not meant to have grease, is the point I was making.
Yes I was on the wrong part.

The bit about posting pictures, is something I have raised with one of your colleagues, with no reply ( a long time ago) it could be my device, but, i press photo and get nothing, so I have to go outside., something is not correct!!?

I also found an issue with my half n half seats, they're not the best for straight after doing an interval running sesh and being very sweaty. They absorb the sweat. Could do with some nice looking covers.

I never needed seat back covers (and they'd be awkward due to the captain chair armrests if you wanted to use them) but seat base cushions are pretty easily sourced in whatever colour of vinyl you need. I got a pair from Ali that were about £4 each.

Ha ha good god no. They're the most uncomfortable thing ever designed for a car seat. Who in their right mind thought they were a good idea?
 
Well if you want to try to butcher the driver's seat I took out the other day to make a sweat-resistant seat cover, you're welcome to it FOC. It's just sitting in my shed at the moment whilst I try to figure out what to do with it.
 
Dunno about "nice looking" but Osprey do some neoprene covers that should be sweat-proof and just line the body-facing side of the seat.

Always found seat covers generated more sweat, Sit on a bit of kitchen roll lol
 
It's the back that gets sweaty, ah well just have to give them a shampoo
