What have you done to your Elgrand today?

In the UK catapults are not illegal to own or carry in public, but if they are being used to harm people, animals, property, or for anti-social behaviour, their use could be illegal under existing laws.

The difficulty comes in proving whether or not someone carrying a catapult intends to use it for harm.

Including this which can kill a person - the law is an ass.
I always thought the sight on one of those was hopelessy optimistic and pointless... bearing in mind the trajectory was entirely variable depending on your grip and how straight you pulled back the bands...

Was the site down for other people over the weekend? I couldn't seem to access it. Was away camping in the van and kept getting error messages.

It’s like a shotgun, don’t use the sights , just point and shoot lol

During the Great Summer Blackout of 2026 I replaced my D2S bulbs and main beams from JDM, the D2S I removed were Koito which my mate Google thinks were OEM, obviously not still in from new, but the difference in brightness was pretty shocking even in strong daylight. The main beams I put in are the Masuma and obviously much brighter. All in all if you want some budget friendly bulbs then the JDM car parts stuff seem really good value. Will get a night photo if anyone is interested.1000031527.jpg1000031444.jpg

well i have sold my Elgrand its a sad gay but needs must an long time member bought it so give it a go as to who now owns it you will be surprised

Today I topped up my AC - nice and cold now for the trip to France, was already cool but now its icy! I also removed my backbox in preparation for switching mine out on the way down to France. Both nuts completely seized so had to grind them off, drill out and fit new stainless nuts/bolts (new gasket too for good measure) then the HKS backbox will be on 👌🏻

Also went to change rear droplinks only to find the bushes need done too so put that off until they arrive from JDM... I measured my arb with calipers at 27mm but everywhere says 26mm - guessing that's the correct size 🤷🏻‍♂️

well i am glad you came out paddy the suspense was killing me hope you have got used to not trying to change gear with the brake and enjoy the beast as much as i did
