Now to start digging through the garage and putting bits up for sale. Anyone for a set of Bronze 17” with Climate XL tyres. Oh and one of them dashboard tables…

Is the cloudy from new or has it gone that way over time ( if the latter then treat it like the headlights mate)—-sometimes the wife’s hairdryer comes in handy too ( not that I’ve ever done that of course)

Yeah its old cloudy. Was actually one of the kids old toy boxes I cut up as a temporary job, so will just replace it when I get some fresh stuff bought.

I was having a lovely time using my new Auto Glim products I had for my birthday and then the bloody rain came! 😩

Auto glim shampoo, polish and then ceramic coating and it came up beautifully! All with microfibre cloths as well. No machines were used.

Not today but Friday.

Installed a basic Chinese dashcam and hardwire kit and hid the wiring. Not the simple job you might think when the hardwire kit came with a captive fuse, not a tap, and despite ordering correct ones, getting the wrong taps sent, 3 times from different sellers. Eventually giving in and paying as much for one in Halfords. Then trying to work out how butt connect a fat tap wire and a skinny hardwire connection. Decided on male and female spade connectors in the right sizes and taped to insulate.

Also stuck on a bolt on twin tail pipe over the standard HWS turn down to smarten up the back end. Shiny shiny. Will do until I decide to change the system.
 
Did the final part of the pre CT service on the brakes. Flushed through new DOT 4 fluid, removed rear calliper pins and regreased and adjusted the park brake.

Hello and Welcome. To get full access it cost £12 and it would be the best 12 quid you will ever spend
 
I have just resurrected my Elgrand OC account after a couple of years in hibernation. In that time I have changed my valve cover seals and pcv valve- after which the leak continued from the same spot. Then I replaced the valve covers themselves and put new seals/pcv valve- this fixed my leak but I got a new one in a different corner. Please pray for me EOC.
 
I needed to do the 10 messages again, and I was going to sell my van anyway so I stopped coming. But here we are in 2025 - the van is going to be my sole place of residence again and I'm chuffed about it. I'm a chronic lurker who hates commenting, but all my expendable money is tied up dodgy vehicles, so comment I must - for now anyway.
 
That's all irrelevant though, because that wasn't today - my sincere apologies.

Today I lay on the wet ground beneath my van looking for a clear spot where I could mount a diesel heater. No obvious spot was identified, so I came crawling back to EOC to scrounge the forums for wisdom.
