What 'covid things' do you still do today?

I probably took this a little too far. Moved from a city of 10 million to a village of maybe 100.
Me too I moved from Bradford centre out to the beautiful Haworth with it's heritage steam railway and the famous brontey sisters history and open moors ...so so much better for life and mind ...no reckless young drivers in high power cars with attitude...how do they insure these???

I've been immunocompromised since I caught Swine Flu, remember that non pandemic ?

Tbh, it fucked me up, triggered sarcoidosis, permanently damaged my heart, lungs, reduced kidney function, its constantly attacking both my immune system and nervous system, it still makes my lymph nodes swell up so bad in my chest it interferes with heart function. I get migraines and nerve pain all over my body, fatigue to an extreme, all the good stuff.

When people say "it's only COVID" they don't understand what these things can do. I was hallucinating for two weeks, it was Apocalypse Now level of sweat and messed up thoughts.

I've taken immunosuppressents ever since, which should have left me open to COVID. But, everyone living here at the time, caught COVID, other than me. As far as I know, I've never had it one time and I've tested myself a lot. My parents and other relatives all caught it and were rough for weeks.

However, since swine flu, I've also been prescribed Hydroxychloroquine, the one Trump made a fuss over and everyone told to shut up.

So each time people around me here got it, they took some Hydroxy also for the first few days, and nobody was unwell for more than 5-6 days. Since then, when my kids start feeling a cold or flu they have a couple of days of Hydroxy and it never goes beyond 5-6 days, with no lingering coughs etc.

So post COVID, everyone here is still taking Hydroxychloroquine when they get ill. I did tell my GP and even she said I was far from the first person to say it. It's a relatively safe drug, that can do damage long term with constant high dose use. So I'm at risk, my family are not.

*I am disabled also, but that's a whole other story I try not to acknowledge lol

Not the best time for a take away delivery peter
I don’t have an issue about eating late, it’s not that I’m hungry, it’s just that my mouth is lonely.

When I clap my neighbours think I’ve lost my Cat…..I tell them, ”No I’ve lost my mind.” 🤪

Yeah, I have no idea. A friend's 16 year old son was looking to buy some crazy big V6 Lexus thing, was going to cost him $3k a year in insurance.

I shielded for my mum when she was alive (obviously). Even before that, I was careful about hygiene. I still clean my hands with sanitiser, I avoid crowds (I used to be more gregarious) , clean things I touch (not as much as I used to but still).
