Watching TV on battery

Hi all. Just a quick question and apologies if it's an obvious one.

I've got an Apple TV linked up to the rear screen in my E51 through the rear aux, runs off a Jackery battery pack (and the RCA converter) so no worries there, works a treat.

My question is, if I'm watching on the rear screen after a drive, with the engine off, so the screen is being powered by the main battery, how long is it advisable to do that? Worried that I'm going to run the battery flat.

I think the general consensus is no more than an hour. With the switch in ACC there are other circuits also consuming power.
 
I had thought similar! Many thanks - not planning to sit watching stuff but just in case, good to know a cutoff. Don’t want to wake up in a campsite with a flat battery cos someone’s been binging YouTube…
 
The rear screens are really only designed for in flight entertainment so not particularly efficient when it comes to power consumption.
 
When Elgramping I can easily watch two DVDs or an evening of tv. I turn the doors to manual and don’t use any more lights than I need. I have the Yuasa battery.
Get a Noco starter and don’t worry about it.
 
I camped out in mine, we watched Bruce almighty on the screen with sound cranked, and all was ok next day.
 
I have the same worry, whilst mine isn't converted to a camper, after a long drive it would be nice to recline and watch a film or an episode or 2. I struggle to warrant putting a leisure battery in but with weather being all over the place I can also picture it being nice to travel to the coast, put a film on in the pouring rain
 
With the big yuasa battery upgrade I can do two DVDs with all lights off and she will still start in morning. I also have a Noco just in case as it's borderline.
 
Generally I use IR headphones. The sound system is awesome for an action film, it's got sub woofers under both front seats but the whole campsite gets to "enjoy" it which isn't fair. There have only been a couple of occasions where I could use it properly.

Hi , I'm interested in the big yuasa battery upgrade as I've run mine flat a couple of times but mechanic says battery is fine. Which one did you go for?
