May go without saying, but a fun activity area or / park for the kids nearby or on site. would probably only stay for 2 nights/3 days.
Would be nice to be on a site that allows space for playing ball games and that too.

While unlikely to be able to attend all 4 days, a monster event like this (could be) would certainly make me inclined to go the extra effort to attend at least 2 days.

I can provide links to ear plugs to stop noise complaints.
A live band would be great, but, as a musician, I’ll be honest wouldn’t be cheap. They will see it as a festival and put prices up.

As for the location comments - these are the most central locations that will be beneficial to the whole of the UK. The location will depend on the North/South bias more than anything. We will not move the to somewhere less central to make it easier for a minority.

This is being designed as a national event for everyone. The southernmost location on the list is nearly a 4 hour drive for myself, so it's not like I've picked anywhere on my doorstep.

If you can please keep answers to the survey as requested it will make administrating this survey a lot easier.

Any comments that need an immediate response will be dealt with via a PM as I go through your answers. Any general comments regarding the event are being captured and will be taken into account when we get to the planning stage.

We are aiming to plan a 4 day event, Thursday to Sunday. At this event, members will be able to come and go at any point whether you only want to stay for 1 night, or 3 nights. You will be able to come and go as you please during the day, it will not be a car show (for now at least).

Basic facilities will be provided in terms of toilets and showers etc. Whether that be via the location we choose, or we will look to provide them for the event.

Initially this is to be an ElgrandOC only event, but we may open it up to friends of the club. Ultimately, this could develop into something greater, so this is your chance to be part of the foundation of something bigger.

Insurance, licences etc will all be researched and present at the event.

The club is NOT looking to make money from this event. This will be a break-even deal to make it as fair as possible to all those who attend.

with respect to Question 3 - if you aren't bothered how much the event costs, choose "over £50". That doesn't mean we'll target that, it just means we know that you don't mind paying whatever it costs for us to throw a great event. But we will do our best to keep all costs down as much as possible. The more people who attend the cheaper it will get effectively.

Great idea, hoping it comes off.
Music, food, firepits would help make it more like a festival and create friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Excited already.
If trade stands do become a factor, would you open up to members to book stands?

Prefer site with decent showers, toilets and nearby attraction (ie: walks, river /lake, etc) to come and go.
