thinking of a grill change ?

I like the look of the blacked out style but for me its just a bit too much, I like a little bit of a contrast. so was thinking of going for a chrome grill. what do you think ?

Put some cheap chrome across the thinner bars ( the “ u” channel stuff should do it ), see what you think , it makes hell of a difference

cheers, yeah they are nice, my mate keeps going on about wanting them for his 350Z their are a few curbing marks on them though

I would do as Dave says plus some on the 2 thinner bars on the bumper. Not normally a fan of chrome but it does seem to pop and look better on darker coloured cars.

@kfgas has nailed it again for me, although a totally black grill gets you 90% there and then you can decide if to add the colour to the thinner bars, I’ll bet you can get the effect by sticking on a pin stripe to see if you like it, a fiver gets you there

yeah that works Ive had a look for some edging trim but can't find any that'll fit over the thin bits !! was looking at the U shaped stuff, but need to go out and measure how thick they are.

I think the bars are more square ( can’t remember) but stuff does exist to fit, it’s been done
Now if yours was in the faster colour, this would give you some idea

Nah, stick with the stealth look, I went from chrome to black, never looked back

I do know they sell proper trim for the job over there

Silver or chrome Vinyl wrap might be an option if you can't find suitable u trim.

You could have it spray chromed with silver nitrate. Not sure of the cost though.

The yellow on my thin grills is painted on.

No idea of the extra cost of having this done as it was all included in the cost of the hydrodipping.

I originally also had the 3 vertical bars holding the slats on the lower grill done in yellow as well but was not that keen on them so they repainted them black for me.
