Not sure what I will be driving as this Volvo is due to be returned on Friday BUT the insurance muppets still have not decided if Ellie is a write off or not (3weeks since the bump and twice they have said write off then ask their ‘independent and specialist, assessors to review it ) and the wait goes on. Rear ended A19, not my fault and insurance initially wrote it off and offered me £6k. Obviously I argued on value, which they then doubled but then said it would now be worth repairs at £5,400, however the ‘new’ parts estimate is £8k without labour or paint (plus shipping time) So it became Total Loss again, now we wait on their “specialist assessors” opinion. ( but their assessors are absolutely clueless on Elgrands)
But at least they are paying for my physio

3rd time on A19, previous 2 were high speed and 1 of them hurt a bit (a lot), this one not so much. Must learn to get out of the way of dodgy drivers.

The Walled Garden Cafe is where we went last time. It’s slightly easier to get to - just of the A174 main road To Saltburn and has a bigger car park. The Museum Cafe is about 400 yds away.
