Special parking

They should come with parking cones as standard. Wouldn't see the supermarket car park posts in here then

I think it's the mover over sign, with folded in mirrors, that I got the kicks at

Not the nicest. If the owner lives there, or a visitor, and it's within the allowed single yellow line time period, you'd think they would knock on his/her door and ask. However, if it's someone taking liberties, and uses a single yellow line as 'their' parking space out of the allowed times, then they can't really grumble if roadworks did it at a time when/if it shouldn't have been parked there anyway? The yellow paint on the curb indicator also means no loading/unloading either, even in the allocated times. Not that they seem to be of course. I'm not totally clued up on road lines to be honest.

Single on kerb timed loading, double on kerb no loading.

It could also be none of the above as a lot of roadworks now have a guy paid to sit and monitor in their own vehicle usually parked within the cones.

SUNDAY Edinburgh, not town center you can park on a single yellow line no problem.
monday- Friday different story, Saturday after 5pm okay, sunday park all day
But the town center you have to be careful different rules

I didn't know the kerb marking stuff. Cheers.
That also might explain why I've many a time seen someone doing jack all, sitting in a van on his phone.
