Show us your knob

I went from standard to an 8 ball but at 60mm dia - it was too small.

I then tried a crown green bowling Jack at 75mm dia which was good and had nice heft, the colour also matched the dash illumination.💡

Finally I bought this Dandelion, set in resin - again at 75mm dia, it signifies how my van is good for the environment.🤗

👍

I'd quite like a new knob as the one I have is quite small. What should I be searching for when looking? Do they just unscrew? And buying recommendations? Thanks.

Added this as I liked the perforated leather matching the dash and steering wheel. Was not sure, so it came off again……😆

Due to my abnormally large hands, I often knock the blinking thing into neutral with the standard one, so might look at the 8 ball, or one like my hand shift Harley of a similar size. What's the thread size on the shaft?

I decided to buy a nifty Momo chrome knob but after 1 winter using it decided wasn't keen on having my hand frozen stuck to it and I'm way too old for Mittens so decided to refurbish the original using LCD products. Next job steering wheel.20220917_133718.jpg

Getting a bit "bored with the sword" after 12 months, any suggestions for change?

I'm wanting to 3D print a shift knob for my E51 S2. Are these standard direction threads, and what's the size/pitch?
