What are the options and are they just a generic clamp on setup, are there any aero bars, do you get much noise from them

Didn't really want to go down the roof rack but some extra storage would make life easier.

Had a box on a pug yrs ago and found it pretty noisy.

Yogi do aero style ones. Ive got 3 Thule aero ones and can barely hear them tbf, but Thule are hard to get hold of now.
 
I'm still looking for a third Terzo roof bar if anyone has one, or two for sale.

That's the limit of the Elgrand I believe which is why they are only 50kg as it says on the Elgrand.

It's more than enough for what I want to put in it.

Does the Elgrand have specific fixings points for the roof bars or is it just a clamp anywhere thing

I've been out for a look, I can see some metal blanks, need the measurements for front 2 so I can order box, I've had offer of it as a Xmas present so best get it in quick before they change mind 😂
 
i had to drill some new holes in my roofbox as on normal rails the roofbars can move along the rail to suit. As the bars are at fixed points this was only way to get it to fit.
 
yeah mine are thule with black aero wing bars. very rare now as they don't make them anymore.

Hi guys hoping you may be able to help. These bars look great but I have a 2010 E52. Does anyone know if these would fit? I do like the rounded ends rather than the sticky out builders van look. No offence to builders though of course lol. Any help and guidance you can give a newbi would be appreciated

The Yogi website lists the different Elgrands that their bars work on - you should be able to find your specific model. They've also got an eBay shop.

I had some on my recently written off E51. I used to leave them attached - lesson learnt though, every single one of them had the fixing bolts seized, so would recommend you take them off in between use, even if they can be a pain in the arse to refit.
 
Looks like i may have messed up then. My E52 doesn't have any fixing points by the looks of it unless they are under the channel. Damm it.
