Reverse light upgrade.

I haven’t even bought my Elgrand yet and I have a massive list of jobs, including this one, nice stuff!

There's a grommet under the carpet in the middle of the boot area. You can pick up the reverse light 12v from the IPDM behind the nearside rear trim panel.
I’m installing a light strip that does reverse, tail light, brake and turn signals. I’ll have to take the turn signals from near the existing bulbs, as I guess the IPDM would turn on both turn signals at the same time.

The digram below shows the rear indicator wiring at the IPDM. You'll see that the two switching transistors feed pins 9 and 10 and are supplied by fuse #47. The plug layout TH32 shows the wire positions on the connector.

Do you think this is meant to be “Reverse” and not “Reserve”? Is it the reverse light or really a spare?View attachment 112505
The reverse lamps are also protected by fuse #47 but are fed from pin 8 of the 32 pin plug. The reserve is a spare.

Select reverse and press the mode button on dashboard ..you get 4 slider bars overlaying the camera image ..the bottom one will probably be set in the middle so move it to the right with the toggle switch and you nighttime view becomes as day

Can anyone help.
Where is the location of the reverse light fuse ?

I’m installing a light strip for extra lighting for reversing.
My Q is Would it be ok to attach the red wire to the reverse fuse and black to ground ?
