Remember when......

Remember when I didn't own an Elgrand, always a dream, a fantasy. Driving the GTi wishing it would say something too me in Japanese or would do less than 31mpg. Wishing I could climb from drivers seat to the rear effortlessly and actually walk around inside with room to swing a cat. Oh those were the days.
Hit one of the GTI's coil packs with a hammer and it will do less than 31mpg 🤪

Remember when it was so hot that the telegraph poles in the street would seep sticky black Tar.

Oh, hang on, that was last week. 🥵
When the memory goes it's funny that you can still remember what happened when you were younger, but not what happened yesterday ;)

Why, what happened yesterday??

Yesterday, who mentioned yesterday?

my old dad had dementia and the memory loss but retained his sense of humour. He would make light of the memory loss by frequently saying that it made every day a fu***ng surprise.
