Remember when......

Had Striker as well P4ddy👍
My brother and I would paint new strips on the men every now and then. Over the years they accumulated many coats of paint and coincidently it mirrored normal footballers as years later, they had filled out quite a bit.
I had striker not subbuteo, you had to push their heads and they'd kick the ball which meant the players could volley 👍. I also still have my pinky and perky LP 😃, "riding along on your push bike honey" lol

The Ole Wedding Day Scramble!

Mayhem ensued once a handful of coins were tossed out the window of a departing wedding car. The fervour could be cranked up a notch or 2 if there was silver in the mix and not just a bunch of coppers! Skint knees and crushed fingers galore!

oh yes 1962/3 the last time i wore shorts to school it snowed all day at school then had to walk 2 miles home up to my waist in snow

I remember it well, you sat in class and your clothes dried while still wearing them. We were probably a lot fitter. Times have changed with parents dropping their kids off in the car, and then rushing off to work. Different times! :(
