RCA Aux-in picture no sound

Cant you just plug your hdmi connector into the sockets by the middle seats and see if that works just to prove system works?

I'd like to, but can't find any sockets in rear cabin. Factory TV fitted in back cabin.

Sit on the seat behind the driver and look beside your right thigh. They may have a black plastic cover pushed on the sockets making them difficult to see.

Thanks. Pushed middle seat back but no sockets in B pillar trim or on door. Perhaps not fitted to this 350X?

I haven’t heard of one not having them but maybe someone else will advise differently.

That's really helpful. I tried both of the white sockets but got video no sound through the av mixer box and nothing when I connected into the connector between the front of the e51 and that box. I might have a bose system, perhaps signals and pin outs are different.

Have you looked to check if it's been modified by a previous owner. They love cutting wires and adding things in Japan and a lot of the time it can be hidden away behind the dash or in the cupboards under the seats.
