Hi all, I’ll be selling my Elgrand 05, HWS, Black, 4x4, 3.5L with a bunch of mods (after 8 years of ownership) in a month or so and over the last 2- 3 years I’ve used it as a no-build, no-frills weekend campervan. During this time, I removed the passenger side seats and the sliding middle seat (and due to space, I tossed them at the landfill.. I regret that decision now, of course) to create more room for a temporary kitchen cabinet (which has now been moved to the new van),

So, to my question. Should I go through the hassle of replacing the missing passenger-side and middle seats or sell it as is, hoping another camper enthusiast is looking to convert it and will have less work to do, as I’ve already removed most of the seats, lol?

The reason for selling it, as I’m sure people will ask, I’ve now got a much larger LWB Van which I’m close to finalising the campervan conversion of and I rarely use the Elgrand, maybe 1-2 times a month, and that’s only to give it a run out and I’ve been using it as a small storage container while fitting out the LWB van.

Updated following feedback below - The front passenger seat is still in place, but the rear passenger side seat, the middle row passenger side seat and the smaller sliding 'arm rest' seat in the middle of the middle row are currently missing, So, still leaving 4 seat belted seats, 2 in the front, one on the drivers side middle and on the rear drivers side, hope that helps

Thanks for your interest, and if you have any questions or feedback, drop them below 😊

Admins: Hope this is okay in this section, if not, please move to the appropriate section. Thanks.

Sorry, a bit puzzled by your description.
It's the middle passenger side and 'middle - middle' seats you've removed, not also the front passenger seat? So it has 3 seat-belted seats?
Do you still have both rear seats (5 belted seats)?

My opinion, for what little it's worth, is that it might not be a problem. But it'll depend much more on how tidy it looks now you've removed the kitchen unit.
You're obviously always limiting potential sales any change you make, while increasing it in other ways to save buyers the hassle of changes they'd intend anyway. So, swings and roundabouts...

Ah, yes, i should've made that clearer. The front passenger seat is still in place, but the rear passenger side seat, the middle row passenger side seat and the smaller sliding 'arm rest' seat in the middle of the middle row are currently missing.. hope that helps

Hi mate. You could try selling it as a day van first and add seats later if you get no takers. Theres always rear seats available for free on here.

All the best whatever you decide.
