What are people’s views on using a pop top with a bed in it with these vans?

Our first Elgrand had a pop top, we only ever used it for increased head room at the raised end and temporary storage space at night. I chickened out using it as a bed as I wasn't sure it would take my weight.
The couple who bought it from me had two small children and I think they used it, unfortunately they are no longer on the forum.

Due to the roof design of the Elgrand the roof bed are a little on the short size for most adults, not as long as a VW for example. It is possible if you are 5' 8" or less but still a bit cramped ... better suited as a Childs bed, for which they are ideal.
