I've been putting off getting one for ages and then the one I wanted popped up for 50% off on Amazon.

Well there is pizza and pizza. Not all are created equally :yum

Pretty pleased TBH as I used wood which is much more difficult to maintain consistent temps with than gas.

I'm baking a lot of sourdough loaves now and have dabbled with pizza. Just using the home oven though, cranked up full, with a pizza steel.
Are you using poolish?

If you haven’t already seen it, Vito Lacopelli has a good YT vid on using a home oven. It really only requires the base to be part baked before adding the toppings. Well worth a look.
