We went to Whitby on the day of your meet, if we'd set off for (and left) Whitby earlier we might have continued North from Whitby and joined you but we set off for Whitby too late after doing some errands in the morning.

We returned from Whitby via A171 and A19 anyway so came relatively close, the A64 SW was jammed for miles when we were on the A64 NE on the way to Whitby so I avoided the A64 on the return.
