Modified Nationals 2026! June 26-28

OK, with the recent tragic loss of our club chef Cliff we have to rethink the catering plans for the campsite.

The club is happy to provide BBQs with charcoal etc and maybe a pizza oven and air fryer but food itself will be an issue (no where to keep it on site)

Would people be happy bringing their own food and just using the clubs kitchen items?

We are open to suggestions on this :)
 
Never having been to a club meet before I was going to ask about the protocol regarding cooking nearer the time, I assumed we would bring our own food and cooking equipment, so I am happy to do this. If there is anything I can help with, putting up gazebos or bring anything I have to help this is no problem either, please just ask.
 
Normally at these big events we provided the majority of catering on our campsite (last year was a bit of a disaster, long story )

This time around it's probably going to be best if each member brings their own food to cook on site, we can provide the BBQs, charcoal, pizza oven and air fryer or you are welcome to of course do it your way :)

We all tend to pitch in putting marquees up etc providing you're able, as little or as much as you feel comfortable :)

This is what we did at Yakushi 3 years ago and that worked well. I'm happy to cater for myself.

I have the club marquee and will be transporting it.

For those of you who don’t mind eating Fast Food there are many options just a stone’s throw away- including delivery to the field you are in via JustEat - DeliverRoo - etc.
 
There is also lots of catering within the show grounds. Not the cheapest but plenty of choice :)

Getting in and out can be a little... Tedious and not sure uber/just eat would be allowed in without ticket...

Maybe meet them at the front gate?
 
Club kitchen will have BBQs, airfryer, possibly microwave, and maybe hotplate and pizza oven (looking into those)

We are also happy to provide bread buns etc, all you would need to do is bring your own sausages/burgers/steaks or vegatarian options :)
