Since updating my PCs to Windows 11pro none of my memory card readers don't work, so they are going in the bin.

Can anyone suggest a compatible replacement please.

I have one of these and it's still working where all others have failed.
I am running windows 10 though.

I’m not an IT expert But I would try formatting one.

What type of cards are you trying to access?
SD and Micro SD mainly and CF/TF/XD/MS occasionally
They all work under windows 10 but not 11.
If I connect cameras mobiles sat navs etc directly to the PC I can read the cards but not with my card readers. I have updated device drivers etc but still no joy.
I was just wondering if anyone on the forum using Windows 11 can recommend a good multi card reader.

Have you tried it in a different usb port?

Are you able to see the reader in windows device manager? Not sure where your confidence level is

Yes tried all available ports, works fine with windows 10 not 11

Yes, shows up in device manager just doesn't show the memory cards, works fine with windows 10 not 11

I've had success before using a usb external hub, so hub into laptop, card reader into hub.

Tried 11 for one day went back to 10 could not get used to taskbar at bottom.

Ended up getting a Lexar Professional USB 3.1 Multi Card 3 in 1 Type C card reader works really fast with windows 11
