is this woman for real ?

yeah where not gona morn for a Lada, but saying that ive had one, a Lada niva. it was an early one so no posh stuff in it 🤣 but it was fantastic off road. 😁
They were good at the bomber races too , my uncle just took off the exhaust and it went like stink

Been to a few off-road events with my dad back in the day when he was into Landrovers. At one of these events there were all kinds of off-road / military / 4x4's and a lot of them were going across a muddy field then across a river with steep muddy banks. A couple of Subaru reps turned up in a brand new Subaru car fitted with bullbars and they tried the river crossing... Oh dear lol! The car couldn't make it and had to be pulled out by a Landrover, then the daft reps connected the tow vehicle chain to the bullbars, which were ripped off lol. My dad still ended up buying a new Subaru though.

I bought a Lada Estate for a £100 to help a mate out, it was good for skip runs. Proper shed but built like a tank, was gutted when someone nicked the tax disc, it was worth more than the effin car 🤣

I've had stag-eye and welding 'sunburn' (and real burns) countless times. Even now can see the white scars on arms and legs from welding burns years ago, plus a few scars from angle grinders. After a particularly bad case of stag-eye when I was 39 and had been welding brackets to an RV chassis in the dark (and doing spot welds without a mask) my eyesight was affected forever, a couple of days later I was driving to Cornwall in the dark and could tell me eyesight had been affected, my eyes also stung the whole way, eyes haven't been the same since, it's when I started wearing glasses.

Also set my clothes on fire many times welding and grinding. But the daftest time I set clothes on fire was in the house, I'd come in from work on a really cold day with damp clothes and decided to warm myself up by turning the gas cooker hobs on and holding the back of my shirt open over the hobs... But my shirt had some oil soaked in it and I did it too long, the back of my shirt burst into flames while I was still wearing it lol. Tried to rip it off but that only partly worked, shouted for the missus who was upstairs while I moved over to the sink to try and soak it with water. Missus helped me get it off but by that time my back was blistered.

Eye inflammation lasts a long time - 4 day water fasting cured my issues after laser eye surgery. Only discovered it years later.
