I use Admiral. I was with LV but when my 1st Elgrand was written off, they refused to cover the new one but would have covered the old one if I had repaired it - very strange.

How much is admiral if you don’t mind me asking

There is a huge thread on insurance here https://forum.elgrandoc.uk/threads/insuring-your-Elgrand.11364/post-669371 have a look at the last few pages for recent posts.

I use Greenlight Insurance who are a broker and I have a policy for £373.98 with Highway who are now part of Allianz, formerly LV. My mileage is restricted to 7000 per year.

Hi, I have a 3 car policy with them but the Elgrand is around £650 but that includes busines use and around 18000 miles a year and only 3 years NCB as the bulk of my NCB is on my other car as it makes the whole lot cheaper. Hope that helps.

I use Admiral as well - very cheap with no NCB, less than 300 I think (5000 miles, no business use). I have made a “fault” claim involving my old Tesla and a third party car with Admiral previously and the experience was brilliant. Always good to know that as well…..
