Hi all, who would be best to ask about importing?

I have quite a high spec list, and have found a car that I like, but how would I go about finding out more info to regards importing it?

thanks
ian

Add 30% on for any trader plus your 30% on for tax. I'd rather miss out one of those 30% and go through one of the auction sites direct like beforward.jp as they have loafs of info you can read too.

Hi Ian, I used www.pacificcoastjdm.com
Good communication and clear pricing. Dealt with all my translation requests, all the export paperwork in Japan and sorted shipping. I'd use them again. They'll give you an accurate quote for shipping and answer any questions you have.

Probably a good time to buy anything from Japan. The value of the yen has collapsed. Last time I bought from a Japanese auction site , a 1,000 yen equaled $12.10 AUD. Now 1,000 yen equals $9.80 AUD, so roughly a 20% drop in value.

I used them as well, answered all questions promptly and made the process very easy.
