How to lock an Elgrand from inside and stay inside without the alarm going off?

How do we/you lock an Elgrand from inside while camping etc and not have the alarm go off?

Edit - And lock a dog inside without the alarm going off?

Mine doesn't have an alarm but if it did I would remove it.

But I believe the switch on the driver's door does it, you know beside the window ones.

Possibly, just lock from outside with the key, think you'd need to turn the rear doors off

My e50 doesn't have a alarm , can lock all doors from drivers switch

When I sleep in the van and want to lock it I just flick the central locking lever/switch above the drivers door opening handle, I keep the keys central in the van. I've never done anything an alarm and it's never gone off even with two adults and two dogs moving around.

I have never left a dog unattended in a vehicle, kids yes but not dogs.

Agree with other responses use the lever beside the drivers door handles, locks all doors can just open sliding door by flicking upwards and rest stay locked

On subject of alarm I lock my door with key from outside as alarm randomly goes off, how do I remove alarm

Old fashioned trick
Turn ignition to ON……not to START
Lock the doors from drivers door lock
Turn ignition back to OFF

Do you have a key in your fob, if so lock with the key i do all the time to stop alarm going off for no reason

I've thought about this plus the flat battery problem while camping and leaving the doors open, I have a quick disconnect coupler on the negative lead but this means opening the door with the key and then the bonnet to re-connect the negative lead so you can open the doors with the keyfob. So I have now fitted a remote battery isolator on the negative side. This means I can lock the doors while inside using the Elgrand remote, and then disconnect the battery using the battery remote fob. This also means the back door and alarm is disabled while you are sleeping inside with the Elgrand keyfob also inside. Also the doors can be left open all day while around the bus without any battery drain. Downsides are trip etc will reset every time you disconnect the battery. I don't trust the remote isolator while starting/driving, probably perfectly good but that's just me, so I swap over the quick connect negative leads under normal driving etc and just use the remote isolator when parked up, At least that's the plan, not used in anger yet but away next week for a few days so I'll soon find out.
