Shell Island near Barmouth in North Wales? No but I was there a couple of weeks ago from Friday night til Sunday afternoon with my boat.

I saw at least one other Elgrand when I was there and I didn't even look around most of the place, usually I have a drive around the Island and see more Elgrands but this time we arrived late on the Friday and finished pitching the tent when it was dark, almost straight to bed then next day didn't venture anywhere before launching the boat, Sunday we packed most stuff up in the morning then went for a look at Harlech Castle, came back to pack the tent up and get the boat and were away by mid afternoon.
The sea was perfectly flat on the Friday and Saturday morning but as usual when the tide came in on the Saturday it started getting a bit rougher and it was quite rough when my son and I were on the boat. The tides were small too, meaning that even at high tide it was only just deep enough for the boat to navigate from the slipway to the sea. To launch the boat without dipping the Elgrand in seawater we had to reverse down the slipway then chock the boat trailer wheels, connect a rope between the trailer and Elgrand, pull forwards a bit, remove the chocks and lower the trailer into the water on the rope.
