I want to upgrade rear springs or add Air lift 1000. Asked my local garage and they 'cannot do it' even if I getting the parts....
Any recommendation for Elgrand capable garages about Central area??

I don't see why doing the springs would be an issue. Air suspension yea as then there is a more parts and pipes to run etc.

Hey I am from Fife and there is a garage in Dairsie http://www.fantasticcampervans.co.uk/ that specialise in elgrands and alphards, they do conversions, servicing and repairs, not sure if they can help but you never know.

Got a local garage to fit upgraded springs and new shocks - thanks for the suggestions.

One comment they made as I was asking about getting the tracking checked.

"NSR front arm toe adjustment bolt siezed in the bush would need replacement to adjust tracking."

As I got the parts for the springs etc what would I need for this?

Reviving a dormant thread but here goes. In 2024. Are there any garages in Scotland people would recommend for servicing and general work on the Elgrand? (It could be handy to have a list as fresh thread) I'm going to phone my local garage to see what they say.

A bit far for 99.9% but if you're up here on NC500 and have any problems, these guys are decent.

I have just spoken to NPG Motors who say they have experience of them. They have worked on and serviced them. NPG don't *like* them but they can do it. To quote "They are a b*stard to work on and we can't give quotes for jobs. It takes as long as it takes."
