Fob batteries, I have a 2007 E51 with 2 x four button fobs. One has a 2025 button cell in it the other has a 2032 in it. Which one is correct or are they both wrong!

2025 Duracell in my two fobs, which have 4 buttons, fobs are a bit like a rugby ball shape

Basically , they are both right.
They usually have 2025’s but some owners replace with the 2032 I think being a little thicker they make a better contact in a worn fob ( I could be wrong)

Probably teaching granny etc, but 20= diameter in mm and 25/32=thickness in .1 mm so 2025 is 2.5mm and 32 is 3.2 a difference of .7mm, about a credit card thickness.
They are both 3v so the 2035 has slightly more capacity and I think I would put Lithium 2032's in personally..
