If its the 3.5 V6 its extremely easy to change the camshaft sensor bud, literally one 13mm bolt I think and at the front of the engine so easy to access, no need for a mechanic if you have a few basic tools.

Bit more complicated bud with the 2.5! The camshaft sensors are at the rear I believe on the 2.5 so maybe you do need a mechanic! Sorry bud I thought it was the 3.5
Any members help with 2.5 locations?
