Eventually, my e51 will get some paintwork done, wondering what bonnet bra would look like on grey. Pics please. Thanks
 
I would steer clear if i was you....those bonnet bra,s trap road dirt and grit, then as they move around at speed they act like a huge piece of course grit sandpaper rubbing on the paint you are trying to protect.

PPF ( paint protection film ) is a preferred alternative - its a bit like Wrap but thicker and transparent.

Much better to use the film or even a bug guard which has a gap so crud can wash/blow away

To be fair bonnet deflectors are much better option but the one we have available is absolutely hideous. There was one in Russia but for obvious reasons not easy to source now.
 
We have that very one.
We had a cheap one off eBay but the fit was crap, this one from deflector.eu is a perfect fit, nice and even with secure fittings too so it ain’t coming off easily
 
I've already bought one, £38 ish but delivery etc was £40 plus, came to about £82 altogether, took about 2 weeks to come, as with everything else I've yet to fit it :(

Would be interested in actual good pics man. Yeah the shipping cost is wild 🤣
 
Pics of the bonnet deflector, complete with cheesy Elgrand stickers which will be coming off when fitted, it is made of black (opaque) acrylic plastic not glassfibre as on the website. it looks decent quality and the acrylic is 3.4mm thick. the second pic is of the clip, five of those supplied complete with bolts and black plastic bolt covers. I did think it would look better matching the window covers but when I thought about it opaque is better as you cannot see the clips. Oh, and to add to the price they charge about £2.50 to use paypal.20250617_175910.jpg20250617_175920.jpg
