With the many people who have had these installed, Could someone enlighten me as I've searched and searched the net and have found nothing.

Does installing a new head unit stop the ability to isolate the DVD player sound to the back only and have the stereo playing in the front? As I really like this feature and wouldn't want to lose or be a massive faff to get it going again. Cheers everyone
 
Shouldn't do. The amp for the rear speakers is built into the image distributor.
