Got up at 2am Friday morning to dig the car out. Took me nearly an hour to get the front wheels onto the road. I got stuck and couldn't move at all. So I spent the next 90 minutes digging it back onto my drive. This is the works Renault thing they've lent me while the weather is bad, as I've been using my bike since giving my Qashqai away. So no work yesterday.
Later in the day I went out the back to feed the chickens and top up the wild bird feeders. Something made me look up at the roofline, and to my shock, the bloody snow has run off the solar panels in 1 huge snowdrift amd ripped the facia and guttering off the roof. So now I'm waiting for the insurance to arrange a visit to see the damage before we can get it repaired.
 
Facia and Guttering? Have you got any photos? @guyver1 Are you really sure that’s worth an insurance claim?

Haven't had any here recently. But in the past I've sailed past other vehicles that were stuck on hills in snow.

Either that or have more damage occur. The assessor is coming out next Wednesday with his drone. Suppose it's safer than climbing over an 8ft fence onto the council property next door, then over an 8ft wall and a 6ft fence to get into my nack garden though 🤣

We missed the snow with ours, having only picked it up today.
But it has been utterly belting it down all day and I was thankful for the 4WD after having a bit of an accidental sideways hooligan moment off a roundabout earlier!
 
I thought our old 2 wheel drive 51 was great in the snow, last week in the snow I used the Maserati as my new 51 is mint underneath and I I want to keep it that way 😂
