Auto show 10 year anniversary @Darlington 31/8/26

New to this forum - is there likely to be any Elgrand stuff on display. Interested in sourcing parts and local repair expertise as Darlo is just 10 minutes down the road for me?

Well have our elgrands on display, as for parts probably not unless anyone brings stuff to sell on.
You'll get plenty of good info and recommendations, for parts and suppliers from members on the day though if you want to come along.

Nice one. We'll be meeting up beforehand, so we can all drive in and park together, so keep an eye on this thread, and I'll put the meeting details on in the next few days 👍
 
Sadly, auto show has just been cancelled this morning :(

That’s a pain. I actually bought my ticket at 10.30 this morning albeit through the car event link.
 
Cancelled due to rain? What are they expecting? Remember some pretty heavy downpours at Carlisle not stopping the action..

Having done a bit of digging, think you are right. £5 entrance fee was probably way too low given the numbers likely to attend.

Think they were trying to generate more interest with cheaper ticket prices. They had to cancel the Cumbria show due to low sales last year too.

There was one in Carlisle on the 6th July last year, I think I was the only Elgrand. @Tino saw something on FB that said they had only covered half their costs.

I told SWMBO about the cancellation last night, she said "Oh." in that way which means she is working out which beach we can go to so that the dog can put sand in the Magnu again.
