Anyone know how I can get a spare key for my Elgrand?

I've seen somewhere on FB where he said £150, so suspect it was a typo
 
@Jinch, yes. I since went back to Martyn and clarified, £150. Maybe if I had been less polite in my reaction to the £1500 quoted this would have been cleared up sooner but it seemed unlikely at the time that two extra zero's would be a typo. I'll edit my initial post.

Hi everyone, its me, the person dumb enough to get themselves into the nightmare scenario. I have lost my keyfob.

This is the scenario. I live in north wales, im working up in scotland near dunbar. The Elgrand is unlocked luckily and parked safely at a farmhouse where we stay, in the middle of nowhere. I have a work van and tools to get into the dashboard as someone mentioned. I have up to 3 weeks to solve this issue. I need a blank fob and to get it reprogammed. I'll try contacting the people ive seen mentioned in this thread but does anyone know if its going to be possible for me to access the required details inside the van and pass them onto the key suppliers so they can program it where they are and then send it.

Please if anyone can help me out, im very stressed right now.
 
Latest is i have acquired two blank keys from just japanese and found a locksmith from the scottish Elgrand facebook group who seems to know the score so fingers crossed will keep updated incase i can help anyone out in future

Can anyone explain to me please what is actually involved in programming the key (and unlocking too)?

I have BPA0M-11 fob with a chipped blade key. What does the chip in the key do, does it act as extra electronic measure so it wouldn't be possible to just copy the blade and drive off?
When you buy a 'refurbished' key they've obviously reset the fob, which is understandable, but what about the chip in the blade, or do those keys come 'chipless'?

I'm familiar with how a fob is reset / unpaired / unlocked, which in principle is the same for every micro controller - you physically attach to it and rewrite, but this two-chip situation confuses me.
How is the chip in the blade reset and programmed, since it's sealed and can't be physically accessed. Through the ignition keyhole after the fob is paired?
 
Nissan keys dont need to be "virgin" keys like Toyota etc, they can be swapped between cars easily, the fob is programmed by pushing buttons while programmer is connected, blade programmed in ignition

I'm not arguing, just pointing out that these guys seem to suggest that typical Elgrand keys are not clonable until unlocked through a direct re-flash.

Hello I'm 40mins from Weymouth (lost Nissan Elgrand rider E51 keys recently on Weymouth beach!!!) can you help me with a replacement key and programming..apparently I need the immobiliser code aswell as the key code? How much do you charge? Thank you

I've got the same issue, from the South East. Got the key cut from a mobile locksmith, but he couldn't do the programming, due to incompatibility of connectors, so my spare key still needs programming. Did anyone find a solution for south England?

I can programme the key and fobs but unfortunately I'm in weymouth
