Right, I have now installed another add on that allows people to use hashtags. For those familiar with the hashtag system from using Twitter or Facebook, you should be right at home. For everyone else, hashtagging is basically a way to "tag" your post using a phrase.
All you have to do is put a hash in front of a phrase WITHOUT spaces (so [HASHTAG]#Hashtag[/HASHTAG] for example).
You will note that the above example is now turned into a link. When you click it, it will take you to a list of all the posts that contain that tag.

The tags will then form a "trending" analysis. The top tags will be highlighted (somewhere, not sure where yet)... and members can then click on those "trending" tags to see what's been posted on them.
Try it. See how you get on. But don't hashtag EVERYTHING and EVERYTHING else I'll get pissed off and remove it. Be sensible with your tags...
