Hello all. I am considering making a roller blind for the tailgate. I think I can screw into the plastic here but I am fearful of causing an issue with the rear window wiper electrics. Can I put short screws into where the green circles are?

I am thinking of putting this kind of screw into the plastic trim.IMG_4616.jpeg

Those trim panels just pop off with a sharp tug if you remove the centre piece above the window, then you can see exactly where you want the screw. Don't think you'll have any problems though.

Thank you. I hadn’t considered trying to pop off the plastic. I might hang on until I have someone with me in case I can’t get it off, or more likely back on again. I took the plastic clips off and couldn’t feel anything behind but the gaps are quite small so I couldn’t feel very far into the cavity. I appreciate you replying.
