Yeah it does, but some people like to live in the past

I'm a dinosaur at heart too - I still have a car I bought when living in Japan in 2001, and still have the same bike..! 24 years and still love 'em

Some experts say that the balance between serviceable and technology in cars already peaked on 2021. Newer cars have more technology and software that requires (or it is even mandatory) to take the cars to the dealership and that leaded to the Right to Repair movement in North America (maybe there is something similar in the UK). Newer is not always better. I'm planning to keep my 2005 E51 for as long as I canI'm a dinosaur at heart too - I still have a car I bought when living in Japan in 2001, and still have the same bike..! 24 years and still love 'em
