It would usually say Bose on the head unit ( if original)
Also Bose has a speaker in the centre of the dash
 
Thanks, unfortunately someone has fitted a unit from a cornflake packet with no name anyway, I am trying to order a new stereo and wiring kit so I have everything when i rip the old one out, but the wiring kit depends on what system you have or had!
