My other cars a...

Back in about 1984 I had a mk1 Astra GTE with a full Irmscher bodykit including the big wings, rear spoiler and twin headlights.
Looked very similar to your opal manta. Lovely car and was a real headturner, was a real fun car and a bit different to the escorts of the day.
Wish I still had

No never had an Audi full stop. Other issue with Merc is head room, so every pothole gives me a head hole too :(
I'd happily take it off your hands, to save your noggin, but I suspect the running costs would be quite a bit more than a diesel beater.

Ram TRX - de-tuned version of the Hellcat 6.2 Supercharged Hemi - 702HP 650ft-lbs.
Wrapped in 3M gloss lemon sting - looks greener in most lights but seems to look completely yellow in photos.

Wow that’s a beast must sound awesome 🤩
Funnily enough I’ve been thinking about doing something to the exhaust. My previous Ram had a Borla Atak which was very low and loud. This one is similar but not quite as loud unless under full throttle, it has a 3” system from factory which makes it difficult to justify changing it.

My other cars a mitsubishi lancer evo 8 mr. Only comes out on dry days and hidden away in the winter months. I use my Elgrand as a daily as i only do about 5k miles per yr. On a run and a gentle right foot the evo achieves better mpg than the Elgrand.

Ford S-Max. We live the high life the days of VXR’s and Leon FR’s are gone.

For now…
I really liked our old s-max, had it for 6 years and it never let me down. I'd definitely buy another. Unfortunately as I have a very special Elgrand type (the super rare unreliable money pit version! ) my wife has never forgiven me for trading the s-max in for it!!

Well the Vauxhurl didn't stay for long wanted something auto with more gadgets...

So I've ended up with this ugly duckling

Big old brute, weighs more than the Elgrand! Based on 7 series but with a hatchback and raised ride height.

To quote James May...."gopping"
But as long as you're happy. And if you're inside driving it, you don't have to look at the outside🤭

I thought the Ford Scorpio was his Gopping car.

Indeed, but the BM GT series models are my equivalent.

What makes it based on the 7 series of its wearing a 5 series nomenclature?
Or is this more nonsensical marketing from Ze Germans? ( Like Audi's all having this 30, 35, 40 numbering that is abstract from engine size)

Strictly Sunny Sundays, etc....

It's based on the F01 7 series chassis and interior.

Bigger than the 5 series of that age
