Windscreen replacement in France

Hi everyone.
Started our first holiday to France yesterday. Long drive down to the south and on the way a stone hit the windscreen bottom drivers side corner right where the crit air sticker is. It then started making a crack 😩. It was continuing to spread for the rest of the journey quite fast at first but slowing right down by the end.
Its spreading towards the middle, probably about 12 to 15 inches long.

Bit of a nightmare start to the holiday, just wondered has anyone experienced this before as I'm worried about being able to get it replaced here and whether it's legal to drive?

Try Car Glass, they are the French arm of Auto Glass and were very helpful when I broke my rear screen.

Ok great thanks very much I can see there's one not too far from where we are actually.
I guess I'll have to give my insurance a call first? I've never had to replace any windows before on cars.
